Buddha Mahotsav shall be celebrated at maniabandha for 3days on account of birthday of The Lord Buddha i.e. from 5th may-7th may 2012 at Buddha Bihar Maniabandha with pump and ceremony. Such a ceremony being observed by the largest number of traditional Buddhist is the uniqueness of its celebration throughout the country. Mass prayer with religious discourse followed by cultural programs fully related to Buddhist ideology in every evening are the salient features of the festival. In addition to the above, an exhibition of local weaving materials with materials of inside and out state production with concessional rate are the attractive features of this festival.

A procession of Idols of the lord Buddha on artificially elephant with replica of Dhauli Shantistup and Ashokan pillar along with large no. of foreign visitors 9n 8th may 2012 is the most attractive feature of the festival. A person shall repeat himself if he fails to visit the entire programe in this village.
